Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Spain and other European countries accounted for about 80 percent of the global PV market demand, PV industry raised with the huge demand from those countries. However,as the spread of the economic crisis in Europe, European governments continued to reduce subsidies for domestic PV industry since 2010 which lead to the extreme reduction of demand for PV products.

Once the leading companies worldwide suffered greatly and even went bankrupted in 2011; many larger Chinese PV companies increased losses also. Over 30% PV companies in China dramatically cut production and over 20% ones are at the edge of surviving. Anti-dumping and Countervailing Duties investigation from US to China doubtlessly put Chinese PV industry into a more passive disadvantage.

For all the companies of PV industry in China and of the world, the difficulties of market won't be changed in the short term. Avoiding or just striving for survival is far from enough, exploring the new markets, applying new strategies upgrading to new technology, attracting new investments and launching/deploying new products are the ways out this situation. Emerging market in East Europe, Africa, Mid-South America, South America, East Asia, etc is awaiting for the explorers, but how to get involved into those markets, what kind of regulations should PV industry know, how to get bankablility for the new projects& technologies in those regions, what are the favorable tariff/ policies in those regions, is there any legislation issue that should be awared of...?

GET THESE READY BEFORE GETTING INTO THE EMERGING MARKET.

With the strong support from authorities from emerging market and after spending months organizing, Solarzoom is excited to finally present the complete conference agenda for the Premium High-Level World PV Industry Summit 2012.
